Noctaves began as Lunaves — a weekend project to fill a rainy London afternoon.
That was fifteen years ago.
Since then, the hardware evolved. Raspberry Pi 2 became Pi 3, then Pi 4, now Pi 5. Memory grew from 1 GB to 16 GB — and it's still never enough. Frame rates climbed from a few fps to 60 fps. The code was written, erased, and written again.
The project has gone dark more than once — and always returned, a bit sharper than before. Some collect stamps. Others spend hundreds of hours staring at the moon… on a monitor.
And if you're here, you're already part of the story. For that, thank you — every good obsession needs company.
